The Practical Side of FMLA Administration and ADA Compliance
Thursday, October 28, 2021 | 2 p.m. Central Time
This session will provide an in-depth review of the most significant Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations and changes in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). In covering important FMLA regulations, the best way to meet the obligations of the regulations, and potential pitfalls, the presentation will help employers stay compliant and avoid employee abuse of the FMLA.
The second half of the webinar covers changes in the ADA. Participants will learn what to focus on regarding employees with a disability, actions to take, and how to train management in response to these changes. In addition, recent Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) cases and the undue hardship defense will be discussed.
Attendees for the live webinar session are eligible to obtain 1 hour of SHRM, HRCI, and insurance continuing education credit.
